A scheduled live gets its own page, a waiting room and a door you can price. Set it up with GO LIVE at the top of the studio, pick Schedule under When are you going live?, set the date, time and about how long it runs, and tap Schedule it. It goes on your Lives board.
Who is told, and when
- Live scheduled: your followers are told it’s coming the moment you schedule it, and asked to tap Count me in.
- 1 day before, 60 minutes before and 15 minutes before: reminders. Automations decides which are on, and on which channels.
- Going live: when you press GO LIVE, the people under Who hears about it are told.
With Don’t notify anyone, none of these go out.
Moving the time re-arms the reminders for the new time. A fan who taps Count me in gets a Seat reserved confirmation.
Who hears about it
In Advanced settings, Who hears about it follows the door:
- Only people who can get in: Pass holders and ticket buyers only. On a free live it’s the same list as everyone who follows you, so it can’t be picked.
- Everyone who follows you: “All your followers. Those without access see how to get in.” A ticketed live starts on this one, because the people who don’t hold a seat yet are the ones who can buy one.
- Don’t notify anyone: “A test live. Nobody is told.” Nothing goes out for this live: no Live scheduled, no reminders, no cancellation notice, no GO LIVE push or email. Changing the door never changes this answer.
The Notifying card counts who will be told by push and by email at GO LIVE.
What fans see
The live’s page is up from the moment you schedule it. Before you go live it’s the waiting room: the countdown to your start time, who’s already waiting, Count me in and an add-to-calendar link. Its chat is closed until you open it from your control room. Times show in your zone and the fan’s.
Pricing the door
- Free for followers: free to come in.
- Pass required: pick which of your Passes open this door.
- Ticket: a seat for this live. The floor is US$2. An optional seats cap is enforced at purchase. A ticket covers the live, and the Encore too once it’s published.
Ticket holders can refund themselves in full until 24 hours before the live.
When it’s time
Open the live from Lives with Control room. GO LIVE is greyed out until 30 minutes before the start time; hovering it says when it turns on. The length you set is a guide, not a cut-off.
Changing your mind
Cancel this live (the ⋯ menu on the Lives board, while it’s still scheduled) refunds every ticket in full and tells everyone. On a free live, where nothing was charged, it says so instead of promising a refund.
