An Encore is the replay of a live. When someone watches it, the chat and the reactions come back in at the moment they happened, so it plays like the room did. Nobody can add new chat to an Encore.
Every live that was recorded gets an Encore when it ends. You don't have to do anything to make one.
Find and publish an Encore
- Open Studio → Encores. Every Encore is a card on this page.
- Tap a card. It opens the Encore tab on that live's page.
- If the replay is still being made, the tab says Replay's being cut. and how long it usually takes for a live that length. You're notified when it's ready.
- Use the menu at the top of the tab to choose who can see it: Followers, Link only, Public or Draft. The line beside it says what that choice means.
- Hover over the player and tap Update thumbnail to pick the picture people see before they press play.
- Share the live's link. The same link that showed the live now plays the Encore.
Who can see it
- Followers: “On your page for followers, not on home or /live”
- Link only: “Not listed. The link still plays.”
- Public: “On your page and on home / /live”
- Draft: “Only you. The link does not play.”
Delete is the last choice on the same menu: “Gone for good — the recording, chat, reactions and any clips cut from it go with it.” A live where money moved can’t be deleted; it’s kept on the record.
A new Encore is Followers. To pick a different one before the live, open Advanced settings when you set it up and answer After the show. You can change it any time after the live too.
The live's own entry rules still apply to its Encore. If the live needed a Pass or a ticket, so does the replay.
Change many at once
On the Encores page, tick the box in the corner of each card. Choose Set visibility and pick the new setting for all of them. The pills at the top (All, Public, Followers, Link only, Draft) filter the page, and the search box finds an Encore by name.
On the Encore tab
- The row of numbers shows when it was live, how long it runs, how many people watched the Encore, and how many reactions and chat messages it has.
- Highlights lists the moments picked out of the live.
- Transcript is the words spoken, with a search box. Generate transcript makes one if it isn't there yet.
- Chat is everything the room said, in order.
- Download saves the recording, the transcript or the chat.
- Generate clips cuts short clips from the replay. The Clips how-to covers it.
What fans see
Fans get the replay with its chat and reactions, a summary, and the highlights. Inside the player, just above the seek bar, a row of emoji marks the moments the room reacted most; tapping one jumps to that moment. People who were at the live, or who watched enough of the Encore, are asked how it was. The ratings show on the live's Report tab.
