A Pass is ongoing access you sell to your fans. People who hold it get into the lives and Encores you put on it. A fan can pay for a Pass once, or on a repeating plan, such as monthly or yearly, that you choose.
Passes live in Box Office in the studio.
Create a Pass
- Open Studio → Box Office and tap New pass.
- Under The offer, give the Pass a name and say what it gets people, such as your weekly lives and their Encores.
- Under Price, set a price for each way to pay. Another way to pay adds one more: One-time, Monthly, Quarterly, Half-yearly or Annual. Fans pick the one they want when they buy.
- Under Access, choose the upcoming lives and published Encores this Pass opens. Every future Encore from a live on this Pass is included on its own.
- Under Pass cover, tap a metal or upload your own picture.
- Tap Create pass. The Pass is on sale on your profile straight away.
Put a live behind a Pass
- When you set up a live, go to Who gets in and pick Pass required.
- Tick the Passes that let people in.
People who hold one of those Passes get in. Everyone else is asked to buy one. To sell single seats as well, pick Ticket instead and tick the Passes: their members get in free, and everyone else pays the ticket price.
More settings
Advanced settings on the Pass form has:
- Limited seats, to cap how many people can hold it.
- Close sales at a set time.
- Badge next to their name, which holders wear whenever they talk in your rooms.
- Tag everyone who buys, so you can find them on Followers.
- Custom thank-you page, a web address people land on after buying.
Live rhythm shows fans how often you go live on this Pass, such as weekly on Wednesdays at 7 pm.
Sell it
Open the Pass from Box Office. Copy link copies the link to its page, and Go to public page shows it the way fans see it. Fans tap Get the pass to buy it.
The menu on the Pass changes where it's sold. Published puts it on your profile for anyone to buy. Link only hides it from your profile, and only people with the link can buy it. Archived takes it off sale, and holders keep what they have. A Pass that nobody has ever held can be deleted.
To change the price later, edit the Pass. Everyone who already holds it keeps the price they joined on.
Holders
The Pass's Holders tab lists everyone who holds it: when they first bought, their plan, what they've spent, and what they've watched.
- Add people gives the Pass to people for free, one at a time or from a CSV file.
- Revoke takes it away. Tick the people and tap Revoke access. They lose access now, a running payment stops renewing, nothing is refunded, and they're emailed that you revoked it.
- Export downloads the list.
The Pass's Analytics tab shows how it's doing. What Passes earn also shows on Analytics → Earnings.
