Opening the door…

Channels

Channels are the ways your followers hear from you: push notifications and email. The Channels page shows how many people each one reaches, which one brings people to your lives, and every message that went out. What gets sent, and when, is set on the Automations page.

See how people join

  1. Open Studio → Channels.
  2. Pick a range: 30 days, 90 days or All time.
  3. Under How they joined, the Email and Push cards show how many people each one can reach now, and how many of the people who joined your lives came from it. The Email card also shows how many have opted out.
  4. Under By live, each live shows how many people came in from push and from email, and which channel brought the most.
  5. Open the Delivery log tab to see every send by date and channel, with how many were sent and how many were delivered.

Text and WhatsApp show as Coming soon.

What gets sent, and when

Messages go out on their own at set moments, such as when you go live or schedule a live. You turn each one on or off in Studio → Automations.

  1. Open Automations. The Notifications tab lists every moment.
  2. Each row has an Email switch and a Push switch. Turn on the ones you want sent.
  3. Rows with a lock are always on. Hovering one says “This is a system notification that cannot be disabled.”

The moments are:

The words in each message are written for you, so there's nothing to edit.

Who each message reaches

A message goes only to people who can be reached on that channel. Push reaches people who allowed notifications. Email reaches people with an email address who haven't opted out. The Reachable column on Followers shows, for each person, which channels reach them now. When you set up a live, the Notifying card shows how many people will get a push and how many will get an email.
